QueerBerg – 10 years together am 14.11.2026

From the QueerBerg collective:

Many of us arrived in Germany in 2015.

We fled war, persecution and places where being ourselves put our lives at risk.

Calling a country “safe” doesn’t make it safe for queer and trans people.

Here, we found each other and built our own stages, spaces and chosen families. We’re still creating – and our community keeps us going.

For this anniversary, we’re bringing you a queer hafla inspired by wedding traditions: a theatrical celebration with drag, dance, music and pieces of home, brought to life by refugee performers from different countries and cultures. Expect warmth, surprises and a dance floor full of chosen family. Dress for a wedding. And welcome HABİBTHEYS. 💍
